About us

Bethel Assembly of God is a dynamic church located in Johnson Hill, Glendevon, Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica. We are a vibrant community of believers who are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others and helping them fulfill
their God-given potential.

History

We are a local church with a big vision that is apart of the Assemblies of God in Jamaica founded in 1937. At Bethel Assembly of God we are a small group of believers who were committed to sharing the Gospel with the surrounding community.

Over the years, the church has grown and expanded its outreach efforts, establishing it’s presence in the local area.

Vision Statement

  • We see a church whose head is Jesus, whose help is the Holy Spirit, and whose focus is the Great Commission.
  • We see a church of influence, in the community, that the city and nation cannot ignore; a church whose building struggles to contain the increase.

  • We see a church of prayer, walking in the supernatural, where answers are found, and people are delivered from impossible situations into a loving and friendly circle of hope.
  • The church that we see is a church so committed to raising, training, and empowering people with a message so clear that lives are changed forever, and potential is fulfilled through the power of His word.
  • We see a church whose praise and worship touches heaven and changes earth, whose altars are constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to Christ's call to salvation.
  • We see a church that is debtfree and is a Kingdom financial ambassador ushering in the end-time harvest for Christ.
